“ดนตรีมันคือการพัฒนาศักยภาพของมนุษย์อย่างหนึ่ง” โครงการวิจัยเรื่องนวัตกรรมดนตรีสร้างสรรค์เพื่อการพัฒนาชุมชน กรณีศึกษาชุมชนบางยี่ขัน ชุมชนที่เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการเริ่มต้นกิจกรรมดนตรีของทางสถาบันมาโดยตลอด เยาวชนที่ได้เห็นดนตรีเป็นตัวเลือก เพื่อนร่วมทาง เรียนรู้ไปกับมัน
“เครื่องดนตรีที่ผมชอบเล่นก็คือเชลโล่ เพราะใจมันโฟกัสอยู่กับตรงนั้น “ “เล่นไวโอลินครับ เพราะว่าผมเห็นเพื่อนของพ่อเล่นครับเลยชอบ” การให้พื้นที่กับเด็ก ๆ ได้ลองค้นหา ค้นพบ ยอมรับและให้ความเคารพเสียงของเด็ก ๆ เป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญ จากการศึกษาพบว่า เยาวชนทุกคนล้วนมีความฝันมี มีความรู้สึก และความนึกคิดเนี่ยที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ เป็นเรื่องที่สำคัญมากที่เด็ก ๆ จะมีโอกาสได้ถ่ายทอดความรู้สึกของตนเอง อย่างตรงไปตรงมาให้กับผู้ใหญ่อย่างเรามากขึ้น”

“การที่เด็ก ๆ เขาเอาความฝัน แรงบันดาลใจ แล้วก็ความสำเร็จหรือความภูมิใจที่เขาได้ จากกิจกรรมที่เขาเขาร่วม วันหนึ่งในอนาคตเขาอาจจะรู้สึกหมดหวัง อาจจะรู้สึกว่าชีวิตของเขาไม่มีคุณค่า ไม่มีความสำคัญ อยากให้เพลงเหล่านี้ มันอยู่ติดกับตัวและก็จูงมือเขา โอบอุ้มเค้า ให้ลุกขึ้นมาเดิน และเป็นความหวัง เป็นอนาคตของประเทศต่อไป … ชีวิตต้องคงอยู่ เพราะเราต้องไปต่อ… อีกนาน”
เสียงและคำพูดบางส่วนจากสารคดีที่บอกเล่าถึง “บางยี่ขัน: ชุมชน ดนตรี ชีวิต” ในครั้งนี้ เสียงของชุมชนบางยี่ขันแห่งนี้ผ่านเสียงดนตรีจากเยาวชนในชุมชน ทั้ง 3 โรงเรียนได้แก่ โรงเรียนวัดพระยาศิริไอยสวรรค์, โรงเรียนวัดคฤหบดี และโรงเรียนบางยี่ขันวิทยาคม ที่มาร่วมถ่ายทอดเสียงบางส่วนที่บอกเล่าถึงชีวิต แสดงให้เห็นถึงดนตรีที่เปิดพื้นที่ให้ถ่ายทอดความรู้สึก ความหวัง ของชุมชนนี้ในแง่มุมหนึ่ง

The Innovation of Creative Music Process for Community Development: Case Study Bang Yi Khan Community is a project funded by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). The Bang Yi Khan community, established in 2013 by the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, has been instrumental in the lives of its residents, especially the children. Music serves as an optional and friendly way to get to know each other.
“I like the cello because it helps me focus,” and “I play the violin because my dad’s friend used to play it” are examples of children expressing their musical preferences. Allowing children to explore, discover, accept, and respect their own voices is important. According to studies, every young person has unique dreams, feelings, and thoughts that should be acknowledged. Children should have the opportunity to express themselves freely to adults.
“When children derive their dreams, inspiration, and sense of accomplishment from the activities they participate in, there may come a time in the future when they feel hopeless and that their life is not worth living. In such moments, having someone by their side, holding their hand and encouraging them to keep moving forward is important. This activity by the workshops gives them hope and shapes the future of our country. Life must go on, and we must continue to persevere even in difficult times.”
The documentary “Bang Yi Khan: Community, Music, Life” features the voices of the Bang Yi Khan community through music performed by students from three schools. The music expresses the community’s feelings and hopes, showing the power of music to create a space for emotional expression.
