เนื่องในโอกาสฉลองครบรอบ๑๑๑ ปี อาจารย์ประสิทธิ์ ศิลปบรรเลง ๑๒๕ ปี หลวงวิจิตรวาทการและ๕๐ ปีเสียชีวิตของ เคลาส์ พริงส์ไฮม์ ปรมาจารย์นักแต่งเพลงผู้สอนอาจารย์ประสิทธิ์ ศิลปบรรเลง ณ สถาบันดนตรีแห่งกรุงโตเกียว ผู้วิจัยได้ดำเนินการการบรรยายและการแสดงดนตรี “ศิลปบรรเลงเพลงสยาม” ร่วมกับวงอิ่มมานูเอลออร์เคสตรา PGVIM Ensemble และนักแสดงบัลเลต์ ในงานวิจัยเชิงศิลป์นี้ผู้วิจัยได้นำเสนอบทเพลง “เลือดสุพรรณ” และ “ดวงจันทร์” ของหลวงวิจิตรวาทการ ที่เรียบเรียงเสียงประสานสำหรับบรรเลงโดยวงดุริยางค์โดย เคลาส์ พริงส์ไฮม์ พร้อมทั้งแสดงบทเพลง “ไขมีส สวีท” ของอาจารย์ประสิทธิ์ ศิลปบรรเลง ที่เรียบเรียงขึ้นใหม่สำหรับการบรรเลงเปียโนประชันกับวงดุริยางค์ นอกจากนี้ผู้วิจัยยังได้ดัดแปลงละครเวทีผภาวลีที่มีความยาวรวมกว่าสองชั่วโมง มาเป็นชุดการแสดงบัลเลต์ผกาวสีในองค์เดียว โดยใช้เทคโนโลยีการฉายภาพฉากประกอบเพื่อแสดงเรื่องราวนิยายแนวดำนานนี้ โดยนำห้าบทเพลงร้องจากละครเวทีผกาวลีมาปรับให้เข้ากับจังหวะการเต้นรำ พร้อมทั้งเพิ่มบทเพลงไทยเดิม และบทเพลงที่ดุเดือดจากอุปรากรเรื่อง “นอร์มา” ของวินเซนโซ เบลลิน ในการปิดฉากใต้กนาฏกรรมรักในกองเพลิง
การวิจัยเชิงศิลป์นี้เป็นการดำเนินโครงการเพื่อเผยแพร่บทเพลงไทยที่ทรงคุณค่าในบริบทสมัยใหม่เพื่อให้ผู้ชมสามารถเข้าถึงได้ง่ายขึ้นในปัจจุบัน อีกทั้งยังมีเป้าหมายที่จะให้เยาวชนในชุมชนคลองเตยได้ประโยชน์จากกิจกรรมดนตรีและการแสดงคอนเสิร์ต ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการชุมชนของโบสถ์อิมมานูเอล ลูเทอรันเพื่อการพัฒนาสังคมและการส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรมสากล
To celebrate the 111th anniversary of Prasich Silapabanleng, the 125th anniversary of Luang Vichit-Vadakan, and the 50th death anniversary of Prof. Klaus Pringsheim, a German supervisor of Prasidh Silapanteng in Tokyo, the musical events such as presentations and concerts including a performance by the Immanuel Orchestra, PGVIM Ensemble and Ballet dancers are conducted. In this artistic project the researcher re-created the arrangements of Luang Vichit-Vadakan’s famous theatrical songs – The Blood of Suparn and The Moon, orchestrated by Klaus Pringsheim, performed Prasidh Silapabanteng ‘3 Siamese Suite, arranged for piano and orchestra, and transformed the theatrical play Phakavali in 6 acts into a compact Phakavali Ballet Suite in one act with a visual choreographic design to illustrate the mythological fantasy. Five theme songs of the play have been adapted to suit dancing steps with additions of Thai traditional music and include selected dramatic operatic music from “Norma” by Vincenzo Bellini to conclude the tragic love story in the flame
This artistic research carries on a project to promote valuable Thai musical literature in a contemporary context to make accessibility simpler in the present day. It also aims to benefit the youth community of the Klongtoey stum district in Bangkok through music activities and concerts as a part of Immanuel Lutheran Church’s community project for social development and globalizing culture.
